Hyundai Motors, the South Korea based leading car maker, has revealed the first images of its long awaited Hyundai i30 Wagon model ahead of its launch at the forthcoming Geneva Motor show. Earlier, it was expected that the company will unveil the new i30 at the Geneva Motor Show, but to capitalize on the hype and buzz surrounding this model, the company has revealed the images of the car along with a few specifications.

The new generation Hyundai i30 Wagon will be longer as compared to the existing version of the car, as its wheel base has been increased to 165 mm. The longer wheelbase will help the company engineers and designers offer a more spacious interior, increasing the comfort and convenience level for passengers. However, the car is not expected to carry major changes at the interior front, besides minimal upgrades in quality and styling.

The new Hyundai i30 Wagon will be launched in both petrol and diesel versions and the engine units of both of these models are expected to remain same as before with minor tuning for improvement in fuel efficiency and reduction in the emission level. The company will also have to make the designing of the car compatible with the new EU crash-test regulations.
