Paris Motor Show also saw the unveiling of two new 1 litre and 1.4-litre downsized turbocharged petrol mills. The three-cylinder 1.0-litre engine has the capacity of 998 cc and has a Korean MPI mill. Hyundai i20 has been the second best-selling model in the United Kingdom. A new petrol option will also widen its reach as expected by the company. The i20 Coupe went on sale in the United Kingdom in March 2015 and the new engine is expected to find its way in the new car.

The brand has already launched an i30 Turbo and the i20 has already been badged to be under the N performance banner. However, there are no immediate plans to launch this model.
