Hyundai has now revealed the 2015 i20 Coupe which is the company’s first ever three-door B-segment car. The company earlier released a teaser image of the i20 Coupe in September. The second generation i20 made its global debut in India, followed by its unveiling at the 2014 Paris Motor Show. The three door Coupe version of the i20 hatchback is equipped with more raked pillars.

To offer sporty look, the company has reduced the roofline by 25mm and added the rear-mounted spoiler to it. The company has modified the front fascia which accommodates a larger grille flanked by sweptback headlamps. At the back, the vehicle gets bigger taillights. Interestingly, the Hyundai i20 Coupe features similar headroom, legroom and shoulder room space offered on the hatchback version. The boot capacity has been increased by 10-litres to 336 litres. Its flared wheel arches have been fitted to 17-inch alloy wheels. Adding to it, the hatchback also gets Tangerine Orange exterior paint which is complemented by an orange interior.

The engine lineup for the 2015 Hyundai i20 Coupe is directly borrowed from the hatchback. The customers will have an option of choosing from a 1.25-litre engine outputting 84bhp & 122Nm and a 1.4-litre that produces 100bhp & 134Nm of torque. The oil burner is the 1.1-litre unit that is good for 75bhp and 180Nm of torque, while the 1.4-litre diesel engine is rated at 90bhp and 240Nm of torque. The entry-level petrol engine is coupled to a five-speed manual gearbox while the other models get six-speed manual transmission. Its 1.4-litre petrol unit also gets an optional four-speed automatic transmission.
