Hyundai India has discreetly updated the Grand i10 Magna variant with a CNG option. The Grand i10 Magna CNG is available for a price of Rs 6.41 lakhs (ex-showroom, Mumbai). Changes are limited to the CNG kit upgrade and for the first time is available for private buyers as a company fitment.
Mechanically, the Grand i10 CNG continues to be powered by the 1.2-litre petrol engine that generates 65bhp and 98Nm in CNG and 81bhp and 110Nm in petrol mode. The engine comes mated to a five-speed manual transmission. Along with standard safety features like dual front airbags and ABS with EBD, the Magna CNG variant also gets the regular comfort features like rear AC vents, electric ORVMs, Bluetooth Audio system with steering mounted controls and more.
