      Hyundai's Grand i10 hatchback needs no introduction in the Indian hatchback segment. The Grand i10 being the newest of the i10 sibling, completed one successful year of presence on Indian roads. To celebrate this special occasion Hyundai has launched the limited Sportz Edition to further strengthen the brand's bond with the Indian market. During launch, Mr Rakesh Srivastava, Sr. VP, Marketing and Sales, HMIL said, "Grand has created a new benchmark in the automotive industry by foraying into the list of top five most selling brands in India within the first month of full production. We achieved a milestone with the delivery of 100,000 Hyundai Grand cars within 10 months of its launch making it the fastest car to achieve this landmark in India.”

      The Hyundai Grand i10 Limited Edition Sportz is powered by the existing 1.2 litre Kappa petrol engine, whereas the diesel version is stated to be powered by U2 1.1 litre CRDi engine. The diesel version reportedly delivers an impressive efficiency figure of 24kmpl, whereas the petrol variant returns around 18.9 kmpl. In terms of new features the new i10 Sportz Edition has received diamond cut alloy wheels, steering mounted Bluetooth and audio controls. Additionally, the new limited edition hatchback also gets leather wrapped steering wheel along with red and black shaded upholstery. As for the exterior, the car gets a stylish rear spoiler and a B-Pillar blackout along with body graphics.

      Post Hyundai Grand i10 launch last year, the sales report indicate that over 1.1 lakh units have already been sold in the country, thereby speaking loud and clear on the brand's success in India. The petrol variant of the newcomer Hyundai Grand i10 Limited Edition Sportz is priced at Rs. 5.11 Lakhs, whereas the diesel version costs about Rs. 5.98 Lakhs.
