The Genesis sedan has been a luxury offering coming from Hyundai's production line. This time around Hyundai has announced the Genesis as a stand-alone luxury car brand across the global market. The new stand-alone Genesis brand could be a new badging along with new naming structure. The models coming from its production line could see a new nomenclature using the letter 'G' along with a number.
To begin with, the Genesis is put-up on offer in markets like China, North America, Korea and Middle East. Sooner, it shall also mark its presence in other Asian and European markets too. However, it is believed that the Indian market may have to wait for a few years from now on before the Genesis brand makes it here.
The company has stated that the all-new global luxury brand Genesis shall be human-centered and shall feature the highest standards of performance, design and innovation. In next five years, the brand is expected to introduce six new models. More details about the expected line-up would be known in the coming days.
