Hyundai announced their cumulative sales figures for December 2017, which show a growth of 10 per cent. The carmaker sold 62,899 cars in December 2017 as against 57,164 units sold in the same month a year ago.
Hyundai has also registered record sales by achieving its calender year 2017 business plan. The cumulative sales figures stand at 6,78,221 Units, while 5,27,320 cars were sold in the domestic market alone. This makes it the carmaker's highest-ever domestic sales too. The success in record sales can be attributed to the export numbers that increased by 32.9 per cent with 22,741 units sold overseas last month as compared to the 17,107 units in December 2016.
This year, Hyundai is aiming so sell 7 lakh cars in all, with 5.5 lakh units from domestic sales in India. Let's hope the carmaker is able to achieve its target while providing us with new products too.
