Hyundai Creta has swiftly emerged as a key player in the SUV segment in the country. Since its launch way back in July, the company has gathered over 70,000 bookings in India alone, while in the vehicle has managed to accumulate about 15,770 orders globally across major markets like Egypt, Morocco, Peru, Panama, Oman, UAE, Saudi, Nigeria, Colombia and Costa Rica.
Speaking more on the occasion, Rakesh Srivastava, Sr. VP, Sales & Marketing, HMIL stated that the vehicle has been a trend setter in the Indian market. The SUV is also believed to contribute Hyundai's success in a major way with the Make in India initiative. The Hyundai Creta is offered with 1.6-litre VTVT petrol engine that generates 121bhp of power and 151Nm of torque. The 1.6 litre CRDI diesel engine generates about 126bhp of power and 260Nm of torque. For those looking out for automatic option, can opt for 1.6-litre CRDi variant that comes with optional six-speed automatic transmission.
