The company, currently, produces around 7,000 units of both the models on monthly basis at its Chennai facility. With unprecedented demand of the compact SUV and hatchback, the Korean carmaker is planning to increase it up to 9,000 – 10,000 units per month. This will help the company reduce their extending waiting periods. Since its launch on 21st July 2015, the Hyundai Creta has received over 54,000 bookings. Initially, the company was manufacturing 5,000 units per month that was further increased to 7,500 units earlier this month.
