      Honda unveils new generation CR-V at SEMA show in Las Vegas

      The Japanese auto giant Honda Motors is all set to unveil the new generation version of its popular compact luxury sports utility vehicle – Honda CR-V – in the global market. The company had revealed the first images of the concept version of the car in a few months back. The production version of the car will be showcased at the ongoing SEMA show in Las Vegas. The car is expected to hit Indian shores by the second half of next year.

      The new generation Honda CR-V has been developed on an all new platform of the company. A number of cosmetic changes have been made at the front portion of the car including a better integrated wraparound lower front bumper, more dominant three-bar horizontal front grille, aerodynamically more efficient front-end styling etc.

      Moreover, the road presence of the side profile of the car has been enhanced with sculpted bodywork features on the sides, resulting in more pronounced side sills. However, the rear styling of the vertical lights has been retained same as in the current version of the car.

      Inside, the new CR-V is claimed to be more spacious and along with an improvement in the load carrying ability.

      The engine and specification details of the new Generation CR-V are yet to be revealed by the company, though an improvement in fuel economy and engine efficiency has been promised by the car maker.
