Honda has plans to launch three products this year. The first launch for 2016 will happen in March, with the Honda Amaze facelift. The existing compact sedan that was launched in 2013 will get a facelift treatment. The changes include a new front grill, new headlamps, new front and rear bumpers. On the inside, it has a new centre console and some additional features too. This makes the Honda Amaze a good product to consider.
The second product to be launched is the Accord Hybrid. This will come with a 2.0-litre petrol engine and there will be an electric motor as well. This is the new generation Honda Accord that will be coming to India. This is the first time Honda will getting the hybrid version of the Accord. Previously, it had introduced the hybrid version of the Civic that didn’t do that well. Now, with the government subsidy benefits the company is looking at introducing a more green vehicle to the Indian car market.
The third launch for India will be the biggest one for the company. This is the new BR-V. The BR-V is an SUV that is based on the Mobilio platform and will be powered by a 1.5-litre petrol and diesel engine options. This is the first time a six-speed manual transmission is offered on the 1.5-litre petrol engine.
