After Honda Accord on Monday, now Honda plans to launch the hybrid version of its model Civic in India next month. Honda is celebrating is tenth anniversary of selling cars in India. It shall launch a hybrid version of Civic next month for the Indian customers.

The car shall be available as petrol and electricity variant. The hybrid variant shall be priced at premium in India as it would attract an import duty of 114%. The excise duty benefit from 24% to 14 percent shall be in proportion to the localisation content. The final prices is yet to be announced by the company as well as the sales targets for the same are also to be set for the dealers. The non-hybrid version is currently priced at Rs. 12 lakh. The hybrid version is expected to be 60% more fuel efficient.
Honda launched its eight generation Accord in India on Monday and is looking to expand its operations further in India with more dealers and more models in its product portfolio.
