      Honda Navi accumulates 500 bookings via App

      Unveiled at the 2016 Auto Expo event, the Honda Navi has reportedly received about 500 bookings in a fortnight via its smartphone app. As stated to sources by V Sridhar, Senior Vice-President and Director, HMSI, a majority of the bookings have been gathered from metro cities. Produced at Alwar, Rajasthan facility the deliveries for the motorcycle would begin from April. The bike has been offered at a lucrative price tag of about Rs 39,500.

      Honda Navi (Abbreviation - New Additional Value for India) features 110cc forced air-cooled single-cylinder engine infused with HET (Honda Eco Technology) generates about 8bhp of power at 7,000rpm and 8.96 Nm at 5,500 rpm. The fairly powered engine comes mated to CVT transmission. The company has however not been expecting huge numbers in sales for the Navi. Innovative style, refinement and riding pleasure is what draws attention towards it.

      Speaking more on the occasion to sources, V Sridhar, was quoted as saying, “Since its launch on February 3 at the Auto Expo, we have received 500 bookings through its mobile app. The automatic 110-cc model has engine equivalent to our popular model Activa. We wanted to provide something additional to scooter, and this bike was designed. The name of the model is an abbreviation of New Additional Value for India, that is Navi, which will target the youth.”
