      Honda Motors announces recall of 2,338 cars in India for defective driver side air bag inflator

      The year 2014 has witnessed many recalls from major carmakers across the globe. This time around Honda Motors has identified problem relating to defective driver side air bag inflator that featured with its cars sold in India. Honda Motor Company has called for recall of about 2,338 units in India to rectify the problem on an immediate basis. Speaking more on the occasion, company official said, “There has been no reporting of any incident related to this part in India.”

      The company Honda Motors has further added that this recall is a part of Honda’s global recall due to potential defect identifies with driver side air bag inflators. The recalled vehicles were reportedly manufactured between September, 2011 to July, 2014. The list includes 1,040 units of its stylish hatchback Brio, 63 units of Honda CRV and about 1,235 units of its popular compact sedan Amaze.
