According to a statement given by Honda Siel Cars India (HSCI) Senior Vice-President (Sales and Marketing) Jnaneswar Sen, the company is able to slash the price of the Jazz by adopting a number of price efficiency measures.

Powered by a 1.2-litre petrol engine, the new Honda Jazz is claimed to be delivering a mileage of 16.7 km/litre as per ARAI conditions. The fuel efficient engine of Honda Jazz is capable of delivering a peak power of 90PS @ 6,200 rpm along with a peak torque of 110 Nm @ 4,800 rpm.

The major attractions of the new Honda Jazz include a new interior design, tilt steering column, integrated audio equipment with MP3/CD, Aux-in & USB, Keyless Entry with answer back, Steering Mounted Audio Controls, Magic Seats and Driver's footrest, Auto Volume by Speed. Moreover, the car is packed with a range of safety features including ABS with EBD, driver & front passenger SRS Airbags, G-Force Control Technology (G-CON), etc.

Of course, with only a petrol engine, the Jazz will face challenges in the current market where many buyers tend to prefer diesel engines.
