The country's biggest automotive extravaganza 2016 Auto Expo event set to begin early next month offers a major platform to global automakers. Japanese automaker Honda has officially announced its theme and display plans for the event. The company's booth concept of 'Accelerate with Honda', will be used to showcase a wide range of exhibits including models that will be launched in India in future and racing machines that pursue excellence in driving performance. The Honda ASIMO (Advanced Step in Innovative Mobility), popularly known as world's most advanced humanoid robot shall thrill the audience with its potential during the event.
Honda BR-V, Honda's new generation crossover utility vehicle shall be officially premiered at the event. The vehicle features a combination of bold, sporty appearance along with impressive handling of an SUV along with spacious cabin like a Utility Vehicle. It could be offered with 1.5-litre engine in petrol, while the diesel variant could also be offered with a 1.5-litre engine.
Apart from the India Premier of Honda BR-V, visitors at the event can also catch a glimpse over racing machine McLaren Honda MP4-30. As for concept models, the company may showcase Honda Project 2&4 powered by RC213V and the Honda Jazz Racing Concept. Honda shall also exhibit the Accord, Asimo and the Goldwing. Apart from these, Honda shall also feature current models like Brio, Jazz, Amaze, City, Mobilio, CR-V at the venue.
