      Honda does not expect high sales volumes for Navi

      The Japanese automaker introduced the unconventional Navi at the recently concluded 2016 Auto Expo event in India. The bike is stated to be a first product that has been developed from scratch by the Indian research and development team. The company would take one step at a time and begin with selling Navi units in small numbers especially to the youth. Based on the feedback, they may plan the brand’s future course of action.

      The Honda Navi comes with 110 cc single-cylinder HET (Honda Eco Technology) based engine that also serves the Activa 3G. The engine has been tuned to generate about 8bhp at 7,000 rpm and 8.96 Nm at 5,500 rpm. Mated to V-matic transmission the bike is capable of attaining a top speed of about 81km/h. speaking on dimensions, the bike measures about 1,805mm in length, wheelbase of 1,286mm, 765mm saddle height, 1,039 mm in height and 748mm in width. The Navi carries 3.8-litre fuel tank and weighs about 101kgs.
