As seen in reports, the diesel Honda CR-V which has been imported in the country is powered by a 1.6-litre unit. In the international market this engine is available in two tunes – 118bhp and 300Nm of torque, and 158bhp and 350Nm of torque. Though the power output figures for the India bound model is not known for now, we believe it might be the 118bhp variant which is expected to come mated to a six-speed manual transmission. To begin with, Honda might initially offer the diesel CR-V in two-wheel drive setup only.

Though major design upgrades are not expected for now, the interiors might get a few additional premium upgrades. On the pricing aspect, we anticipate that the vehicle might be priced between Rs 25 -28 lakh. More details about the vehicle will be known in the coming days.
