      Honda CBR250RR likely to be offered with LED headlamps and ride-by-wire technology

      Performance bike lovers have been eagerly waiting for the launch of Honda CBR250RR. Ahead of its official launch, sources have indicated on the possibility of the bike being offered with innovative ride-by-wire technology that shall replace the traditional cable mechanism. Additionally, it is also believed that the bike may also feature LED headlamps. For now it is believed that the bike may only be launched in international market and it is to be seen if it shall be offered in Indian markets as well.

      The Honda CBR250RR gets a 250cc new parallel-twin liquid-cooled engine that has been mated to 6-speed manual transmission and generates about 44bhp. For maximum control, the bike comes with petal discs on the front as well as rear, while ABS may be offered as a standard feature. The upcoming bike gets monoshock at rear and inverted telescopic fork for front.

      In terms of design, the bike gets aggressively styled taillamps and headlights. Honda CBR250RR also gets a fully digital instrument cluster. The fuel tank also gets a refueller with carbon fiber finish. The rear tyre hugger and side panels further offers it a sportier stance. If introduced in India, the Honda CBR250RR could compete against the likes of BMW G310R and Kawasaki Ninja 300.
