      Honda CB Unicorn 160 - New details emerge

      Honda Motor India that launched the CD110 Dream commuter is now gearing up to launch the new CB Unicorn 160 in the country. The vehicle is expected to go on sale in the early next year. The CB Unicorn 160 has been spotted several times in India, which further hints at its near launch.

      The new Honda CB Unicorn gets the company’s conventional design language, and shares most of its styling cues with the CB Trigger. However, the vehicle gets subtle changes which give some fresh styling to its buyers. The front face and meters are directly lifted from the Trigger. But, the bike features an all-new tank shrouds, side panels and fuel tank. All-black theme for the engine parts and other sections would also be on offer. The long and flat seats which offers comfortable ride, while the grab rail is basically single piece unit. The company is also likely to offer a LED unit for the all-new tail lamps.

      The Honda CB Unicorn 160 is expected to get a slightly tweaked version of the current 150cc engine. This engine is expected to churn out a maximum power output of 14.5PS. It will be paired to a five-speed gearbox. It was speculated that the new 160 Unicorn will replace the current model; however, media reports suggest that the new model will co-exist with other bikes in 150cc segment. A front disc brakes and rear drum brakes are expected to be on offer. Bookings for the bikes are yet to commence; and deliveries are expected to start in January, 2015.
