      Honda CB Shine SP launched for Rs 59,900

      Potential customers looking for options in the commuter motorcycle segment have a new option to choose from. Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India Pvt. Ltd has launched the new CB Shine SP (Special) in three trims in the country – Self Drum Alloy for Rs 59,900, Self Disc Alloy for Rs 62,400 and CBS for Rs 64,400. Speaking more on the occasion Mr Y.S. Guleria, Senior Vice President - Sales & Marketing, HMSI said, “With over 43 lakh happy customers, the legacy of Shine is undisputed. Though CB Shine enjoys 46% market share, our plan is to further strengthen Honda's leadership position in 125cc segment. We are extending the family with this pride and what we are showcasing today is the next step of this legacy - loaded with additional features making it very very special!”

      The new Honda CB Shine SP gets 125cc, Single-cylinder, air-cooled with HET engine that generates about 10.57bhp of power and 10.3Nm of torque. The bike comes mated with five-speed manual gearbox and delivers an impressive fuel efficiency figure of about 65km/l. The new model has been offered in five interesting shades Pearl Amazing White, Black, Geny Grey Metallic, Athletic Blue Metallic and Red Rebel Red Metallic. The innovative start-stop system that automatically turns the engine off while the bike idles and re-starts once the clutch is released. This helps deliver improved fuel-efficiency figures and enhanced overall performance.

      As part of fresh upgrades, the new bike gets features like new headlamp cowl, Chrome-finish muffler cover, Digital analog meter console, New tail-lamp, 5-split alloy wheels and New body graphics. With the new upgrades, the bike indeed emerges a good proposition in its segment.
