      Honda CB Hornet 160R launching on 10th December, 2015

      The powerful and impressive performer from Honda named Hornet 160R is due for launch on 10th December, 2015. The upcoming bike is expected to be offered as a replacement to the company's CB Trigger that has been witnessing a steady drop in sales. The bike gets its design cues from CX-01 concept that was seen at the 2014 Delhi Auto Expo event.

      The upcoming Honda CB Hornet 160R gets a 162.71cc, single-cylinder, air-cooled engine that generates about 14.5bhp of power and 14.6Nm of torque. As part of technical upgrades, the bike gets Dual-tone front mudguard, X-Shaped LED, one piece seat, LCD digital meter and New Wave Disc with CBS. The bike's engine gets the tried and tested Honda Eco Technology (HET) that offers impressive mileage and refined performance figures.

      Post launch, the new Honda CB Hornet 160R would emerge as a strong competitor against Suzuki's Gixxer. Yamaha FZ and other options in the 150cc – 160cc motorcycle segment. The upcoming bike also sports black multi-spoke alloys and high mounted handlebars. The pricing aspect is not known for now, but it is anticipated that CB Hornet 160R may be offered at a slightly higher price tag than the Unicorn 160.
