      Honda Brio spotted testing in India

      Honda Brio, the much awaited small hatchback in the Indian market, was recently spotted testing on the roads of National Capital. The car is slated to be launched in the country by the end of this year and the company wants to make sure that the new Brio model fulfills all the needs and requirement and needs of the buyers of compact hatchback segment.

      The Honda Brio model was showcased at the Delhi Auto Expo in January 2010, where it had received an overwhelming response from the car enthusiasts and visitors. The Brio hatchback will be launched in the price segment of sub Rs 5 lakh, where it will be taking on the likes of Maruti Swift, Ford Figo, Volkswagen Polo, Nissan Micra and Chevrolet Beat. Moreover it will be taking on Toyota’s upcoming Etios hatchback that is scheduled to be launched in the third quarter of this year.

      The Honda Brio is expected to be carrying a considerably high fuel economy and a range of new age comfort & convenience and safety features such as airbags and ABS (antilock braking system). The car is expected to be launched in petrol version, initially.
