Looking at the mounting demand for City in Malaysia, the company will intensify production of the vehicle at its Pegoh plant where it is manufactured and hopefully will be able to meet the rising demand. Honda City is available in four trim levels in Malaysia including S, S+, E and V. Packed with a 1.5 litre i-VTEC petrol motor good for a maximum power and torque output of 120 Hp and 145 Nm respectively, City is definitely a good buy for customers. India-spec City petrol is also equipped with the same gasoline motor as in Malaysia bound City.

Unlike Malaysia, Honda also offers City in diesel variant in India. Among the list of features embedded in Malaysian City, a seven-inch touchscreen music system, VSC, six airbags including side airbags and curtain airbags and a 16 inch wheels are offered. On feature front, India-spec City varies a tad from Malaysian City as it comes with a five-inch display which is not touch responsive. Honda offers 15 inch wheels in India as against 16 inch wheels in Malaysian City. Among the safety features, India model is equipped with only dual airbags, however the Malaysia-spec City is equipped with six airbags.
