      New powertrains

      Tata Ingdigo eCS is available in three different engine options, out which two are diesel and one is petrol. Talking about diesel engines first, the new and improved 1.4-litre CR4 unit shows renders performance and mileage statistics. It generates a peak power of 88 bhp alongside a maximum torque of 140 Nm. While the other, 1.4-litre TDI BS III compliant mill develops 88 bhp of power and 135 Nm of torque. On the other hand, the petrol version of Indigo eCS is equipped with a lighter 1.2-litre MPFI engine that gives away 63 bhp of power and 100 Nm of torque.

      Revised exteriors with diamond chrome grille and smoked fog lamps

      As the Indigo eCS was recently updated, it has got a sleek new design that perfectly matches with performance of the car. One of the main highlights in the design of Tata Indigo eCS is the provision of the diamond chrome grille that accentuates the appearance of the front fascia. In Indigo eCS, the company has given an e-ORVM, which it has provided the third lane visibility feature. Through this technique, one can easily overtake or change lanes while driving on busy roads. Along with it, Anti-lock Braking System (ABS) increases the safety for occupants in case the car goes out of control. The car also has a collapsible steering column which helps in avoiding major injuries in case it collides with an object.

      Apart from the exclusive exterior design, Indigo eCS gets distinct interiors. The dual tone interiors and the anti-acoustic chamber gives a premium fell inside the car.       Duo Float Suspension system

      Tata Motors has efficiently managed to give a better suspension system in Indigo eCS as it gets a Duo Float mechanism in which Independent McPherson Struts with Coil Springs are given at the front. While for the rear, Independent 3-Link McPherson Struts with Antiroll Bar distributes the weight evenly to deliver better drive control and comfort.
