Sustaining at the top level of any market requires a lot of strategising and planning, something that two-wheeler giant Hero MotoCorp is excellent at doing. The number one brand in the domestic market for two-wheelers, Hero MotoCorp now plans to consolidate on that position by going on a launching spree in the festive season and introducing three new models and a communication program.

Only some time back the refreshed models of the Karizma and ZMR were introduced in the market and now the company is planning to take things to a higher notch by launching three more two-wheelers by beginning of Navratras.

Speaking to Economic Times, Pawan Munjal, the Chief of Hero MotoCorp explicitly mentioned it plans quite confidently. "We will be rolling out 3 new bikes the Passion Pro TR, Splendor Pro Classic and the Xtreme Sports in quick succession over the next five-six weeks. We have already commenced despatch of Passion Pro TR to some key markets. There is surely going to be more as we head closer to the festive season, but I don't want to divulge everything at this time," he said.

Adding further, he said, "The newly-launched ZMR and Karizma have created huge excitement in the market. We are confident that the Splendor Pro Classic with its cafe racer styling will also appeal to the youth".

Sources claim that the new Splendor is going to feature a new handlebar, classic taillight, added chrome parts and cafe racer cowl to make it look more appealing. Munjal was pretty delighted about the prospect of new models coming in and said that they would do really well in the market due to their strategies and ability to connect with customers.

"All our new launches across segments are doing well. The Splendor iSmart in the deluxe commuter segment, the Pleasure scooter with young brand ambassador Alia Bhatt, and the new Xtreme, Karizma and ZMR in the premium segment have generated a lot of buzz among youngsters. The edgy and slick advertising campaigns of Xtreme and ZMR have appealed to youngsters and the young-at-heart. There will be more launches across segments backed by youth-based communication campaigns, as we head into the festive season," he said.
