It’s the battle of the siblings and this time around it has emerged that Honda Jazz has managed to beat out the new BR-V crossover in terms of numbers, just marginally though. The Jazz sold 3517 units as compared to the BR-V of which Honda managed to move 3,333 units.
Sales of the Jazz had taken a major nosedive in April as Honda has managed to move on 869 units. Things picked up again the next month when the numbers went up to 2473 in May and 2593 in June. This major jump of close to 1000 units has come on the back of massive discounts that Honda is offering for the Jazz. This also means the BR-V has been well received as it has been able to keep up with the Jazz which has been in the market for over a year now.

In terms of petrol there are benefits of up to Rs 25,000 on the 2016 model year VX MT variants while there are benefits of up to Rs 40,000 on the 2015 model year VX MT variants. It is much the same with the diesels as Honda is offering benefits of up to Rs 60,000 on 2015 and 2016 model year cars across all variants.
