The high-end premium bike maker Harley-Davidson which is celebrating their 110 anniversary this year, has flagged off an epic ride on Friday with two separate groups of bike riders kicked-off their journeys to explore opposite corners of the globe. The two groups are tracing their route through American West and the Tibetan Plateau of China.
Speaking on the occasion, Mr. Mark-Hans Richer, Harley-Davidson Chief Marketing Officer, said, "Harley-Davidson's 110th Anniversary year is about celebrating the experiences of riding and inviting all to join in on the good times, in ways and places our founders couldn't have imagined." He added, “The first with a group of riders who've never before experienced the adventure of Sturgis, and the other is on the opposite side of the world with a group of enthusiasts riding in China across the Tibetan Plateau."
First group of the bikers is headed Eastwards which is led by Richer and Dave Foley (Harley-Davidson Asia Pacific Managing Director). The group will be exploring their way through the Tibetan Plateau across western China. The second group on the other hand, is heading West wards through the Badlands of South Dakota.
