Effective from 1 July 2017, Maruti Suzuki has rolled out new GST prices across its product range in the country. As per notification, the latest price revision has reduced the ex-showroom prices by up to 3 per cent. However, exemption of FAME subsidy on mild hybrids has resulted in rise in price for hybrid variants of the Ertiga and the Ciaz. The new prices will however vary city wise due to difference in VAT rates prior to implementation of GST.

Among Maruti Suzuki products in India, the top spec version of the Omni and the Alto 800 attract the least discount of Rs 450, while Alto K10 is attracts a mild discount of Rs 518. Moving up, the top spec AGS variants of the Wagon R and the Celerio attracts a discount of Rs 1251 and Rs 1043 respectively. The top spec manual of the Swift and the AGS Dzire variant is now cheaper by Rs 1494 and 1416. Maruti Suzuki has reduced price for the Celerio automatic by Rs 1043. In comparison to rest of the products from the Indian manufacturer, the top spec version of the Ciaz and the Ertiga attract the highest discount of Rs 10,459 and Rs 11,000 respectively. All prices mentioned above are ex-showroom Delhi. Interestingly, the company’s popular seller Vitara Brezza does not attract any discount.

Nexa products like the S-Cross and the popular selling Baleno are now available at a discount of up to Rs 21,300 and Rs 13,100 respectively. As FAME has recently exempted mild hybrid cars from receiving subsidies, the top spec trims of the Ertiga and the Ciaz hybrid have been hiked by Rs 1.08 lakh and Rs 1.87 lakh respectively (Ex-showroom, Delhi).
