Goodyear India has launched the latest generation of their passenger vehicle series of tyres, the Assurance TripleMax 2 in India. With improved safety and durability, it also offers optimized grip and stability along with improved ride quality and comfort. Introduced in the budget series, it focusses on durability and fuel economy.
The TripleMax 2 has been designed for better wet-braking performance with the introduction of the newer rubber compound which delivers better grip thanks to the optimised microstructure. The new tread-pattern also aims at reducing road noise.
The enhanced resistance performance involves the new sidewall design which will make the tyre resistant to sidewall cuts, a risk that you always run on the broken roads in India. Thanks to the improved sidewall strength, the tyres also maintain their composure when pushed around corners, providing more grip for improved dynamic performance.
The tyre sizes start from 14 inches with a 175/65 profile. The largest tyre size in this series is 205/55/R16 and in that range they cover almost all the cars in the Indian market from the Tata Tiago, Maruti Swift, Hyundai i20, Skoda Rapid, Ford EcoSport, Hyundai Creta and the Toyota Corolla Altis along with entry level luxury cars like the Audi A3 and the Mercedes-Benz CLA.
