General Motors plans to launch the all-new Chevrolet Cruze saloon in the Brazilian market in November 2016. Reports have revealed that GM Argentina is all set to introduce the new Cruze in the first week of May.

Sources have confirmed that Argentinian auto journalists got to test the top-end Cruze LTZ Turbo Plus model that comes with a 1.4-litre direct injection turbo motor. This engine displaces 150bhp and outperforms the existing 1.8-litre unit that powers the current Cruze. However, GM Brazil is expected to uprate the power output of the Cruze before it hits the Brazilian market.

Buyers will be able to experience better fit and finish, along with more space in the cabin. The rear seat will offer more support and comfort than the outgoing car. Top end versions of the Cruze will come with leather, powered driver seats, a media center with MyLink 2 and OnStar concierge system. GM Brazil intends to retain the current prices of the Cruze for the new car just like it did on the S10.
