General Motors have announced their plans for the upcoming Auto Expo 2016. Apart from some new products for the Indian market, the American manufacturer will reveal two new concept vehicles. The teaser image hints that one concept might be the next-gen Chevrolet Beat Cross. The other details of the concept vehicles will be revealed at the biennial event. However, Chevrolet has confirmed that they will bring the facelifted Cruze sedan, Beat and Trailblazer from their line-up.
Another vehicle that will be added in 2017 to Chevrolet's portfolio will be the Spin. GM, at present, sells only the Chevrolet Enjoy in the entry-level MPV segment in India, which might be joined/replaced by this new MPV. The Spin is a more up-market product than the Enjoy and will go up against the Honda Mobilio, Maruti Suzuki Ertiga and the Renault Lodgy in our country.
Apart from these cars for the Indian market, the carmaker will also showcase the iconic Chevrolet Camaro, Corvette and even the Colorado pick-up. To keep the crowds engaged at their pavillion, the company will conduct activities like Passabilities and Colorado Co-Driver. The former activity is a game that involves a participant to wear the Manchester United Football Club jersey and play a match on a mobile app to get goodies. The latter Colorado Co-Driver will give users a virtual road trip feel through the Oculus Rift 7D virtual experience.
