      Day 3 at the Frankfurt Auto Show was laden with sports cars and electric cars. Reva’s two new full models were unveiled from the Indian electric car company. Read full details here on Cartrade.com. Renault also unveiled four electric cars presenting its brand new baseline “Drive the Change”. Renault is taking on the challenge by improving existing technologies with new generations of carbon-efficient engines and by implementing the breakthrough ‘Zero Emission’ program. “Electric vehicles represent the clean-break solution which can put zero-emission mobility within everyone's reach. In line with the brand's Renault eco² environmental policy, Renault Z.E. electric vehicles are poised to be marketed on a large scale to take a decisive stand on the environment,” says the press release from Renault.

      Alfa Romeo unveiled special edition MiTo Quadrifoglio Verde powered by Alfa’s newest MultiAir engine, a 1.4-litre, four-cylinder gas engine developing 170 horsepower. Aston Martin unleashed its first four door sports car, Rapide featuring four “swan wing” doors. BMW launched ActiveHybrid 7 and ActiveHybrid X6 which are its two new hybrid vehicles. The X6 differs in as much as it’s a full hybrid that can operate on electric, gasoline or both power sources while the 7 series model is a mild hybrid.

      New Volkswagen Polos were shown off by ABT Sportsline which were tuned and upgraded. Porsche revealed its new Panamera featuring a complete new styling package inside out. The styling package will be available from December, but no prices for the upgrade have been announced.
