Kia has unveiled their striking new Proceed concept, alongside a series of new production models at the Frankfurt Auto Show 2017. More importantly, the production models include an entirely new compact crossover called the Stonic.

Shown publicly for the first time in Frankfurt, the Stonic is an important model for Kia since it will compete in Europe’s newest and fastest-growing vehicle segment. According to the Korean carmaker, it’s the most customisable Kia ever.

The Stonic is immediately recognisable as a Kia, thanks to its signature ‘tiger-nose’ grille. The roof has a two-tone paint finish, and the car is available in up to 20 two-tone colour combinations, with a choice of five colours for the roof. The cabin, too, offers potential for customisation with a range of colour packs for customers to choose from.

The car is powered by a range of lightweight petrol and diesel engines, each paired with a manual gearbox, maximising driver engagement and efficiency. Kia has made it official that the new Stonic will go on sale across Europe later this year.
