Ford Tourneo Courier is a Ford Fiesta based mini-van which debuted in 2014. But now, the American manufacturer was spotted testing the facelift prototype of the mini-van. The spied test mule suggests that the mini-van is all set to receive a midlife cosmetic update.

The prototype wears a camouflage, however, the spy shots give us a glimpse of the new fascia that the car will receive. The wide trapezoidal grille gets dash chrome and the head lamp assembly has been reworked in keeping with the Ford design language. The front bumper is expected to be designed to look more aggressive and sharper as well. The side profile of the van is identical to the current outgoing model and sees no change in its styling. The rear of the Tourneo Courier is carried forward from its predecessor as well. However, the international market can expect tweaked interiors and an updated infotainment system as a part of the midlife update.

The power source for the new automobile is expected to be the same, 1.0-litre EcoBoost petrol and the 1.5-litre Duratorq diesel engines. The former produces 100bhp and the latter produces 95bhp. Both engines will be mated to a five-speed manual gearbox.

Sources suggest that the Ford Tourneo Courier may be unveiled internationally early next year.
