An updated version of the Ford Mustang has been spotted doing the rounds ahead of a probable launch sometime in 2017. This car, a convertible, will most likely be the final update for the sports car before an all-new model is launched around 2020.

      2018 Ford Mustang

Our sources suggest that this new vehicle will get some minor styling tweaks and an expanded range of special packages that is expected to include some iconic names like the Mach 1 and most probably maybe even the Carrol Shelby inspired Super Snake badging. The big changes are expected to arrive on the mechanical front where the Mustang is expected to graduate from the current six-speed unit to a 10-speed unit currently under development.

We in India got the Mustang earlier this year but since it’s a CBU coming directly from the USA, we could expect whatever update it gets to be directly offered in India once the 2018 car has been unveiled and launched.
