Ford India's overall sales figures including exports last month was reported as 17,742 units. This shows a 35.26 per cent growth as Ford's cumulative sales in July 2015 were 13,116 units.

The domestic wholesales for July 2016 stood at 7,076 units as against 4,362 units in the same month last year. This shows a hike of 62.21 per cent in the sale of Ford vehicles. The exports during the last month stood at 10,666 units as against 8,754 units in the corresponding period last year, showing an increment of 21.84 per cent in exports.

Anurag Mehrotra, executive director, Marketing, Sales and Service at Ford India, said, "Ford in India is steadfast on its promise to deliver more value to customers. Our domestic wholesale growth is a proof that the actions we are taking to enhance the entire customer experience matter to our customers."

Ford India's sales reports see an upward trend due to the backing of the stable sales of cars from their current range. The introduction of the new range of Figo cars, which include the Ford Figo compact sedan as well as the hatchback, plus the facelifted EcoSport has further helped the sales figures to reach a new high. Quite recently, the carmaker has also commenced bookings of its iconic muscle car, the Mustang, for customers in Delhi and Mumbai.
