As Ford penetrates deeper into the Indian automobile market, the company has appointed Eureka Ford Parts as its exclusive distributor for Ford Genuine Parts in Tamil Nadu. This would be the second exclusive dealership for genuine parts in the country. Speaking more on the occasion, Nigel Harris, president and managing director, Ford India, said, “From ensuring trust through Happy Pocket service at our dealerships to easy availability of Ford Genuine parts across Tamil Nadu, we guarantee quality and convenience to our consumers.”
In the next 18-24 months period the company plans on expanding product portfolio with about three new products. The expansion plan also includes markets like Karnataka, Maharashtra, Kerala and East of India. As part of company's effort in building a strong brand image in the domestic market, the company has also ushered in the Happy Pockets scheme wherein Ford vehicle owners can opt for service starting at just about Rs. 2,199. The service provided would be executed under guidance of Ford-trained technicians. The facility also ensures that the company shall use genuine Ford parts and high-grade semi-synthetic engine oil.
Recently, Ford India had also inaugurated a Vehicle Personalization Centre near its Chennai plant to provide factory-fitted and genuine Ford accessories set for the EcoSport SUV. The company has also introduced services like pan-India roadside assistance, 90-minute-Quick Service Bays, mobile service plans and Quick Lane centers.
