      Ford delivers one millionth car in India

      Ford has crossed a new milestone with the delivery of one-millionth vehicle to a Delhi based customer. The recently introduced Ford Freestyle has emerged as the one millionth vehicle to be delivered in the country. The American car manufacturer has invested over US$ 2 billion in the country since it first started building cars in India in 1998.

      Ford currently has 465 sales and service outlets in India and they are spread across 267 cities. The company has also made spare parts available at 3,500 touchpoints, which include 2,000 independent repair shops. The current product lineup includes the Figo, Aspire, Freestyle, EcoSport, Endeavour and the Mustang.

      Speaking on the occasion, Anurag Mehrotra, president and managing director, Ford India said, “We are proud and excited to reach One million customers in India and remain indebted to our customers for their faith and trust.
