      Fiat's Toro Opening Edition spotted ahead of Brazil launch

      Fiat is all set to launch the Toro on February 16th in Brazil. The details of this truck is no longer a secret as the vehicle has already been distributed to dealerships.
       
      Variants include the Freedom 1.8 Flex AT6 , Freedom ‘Opening Edition’ 1.8 Flex AT6 , Freedom 2.0 diesel 4x2 M6 , Freedom 2.0 diesel 4×4 M6 and the Volcano 2.0 diesel 4x4. The Freedom Opening Edition version is being introduced initially as a special series to mark the models debut but is speculated to eventually become a standard variant in the stable.

      This version is based on the Freedom entry version and will be equipped with the 1.8-litre E.torQ petrol motor that generates 138bhp and 20Nm of torque. Only a six-speed automatic gearbox will be used to transmit power to the front wheels. The Opening Edition can be recognised by the side logos depicting the series, alloy wheels with grey paint and chrome on the grille and around the fog lights. Door handles and mirrors come with the respective cars paint shade and on the inside, there’s a steering wheel with audio commands, five-inch UConnect touch screen, auto air conditioning, dual tone dashboard (black and grey) and air vents finished in bronze colour.
