We all remember the unsuccessful launch over the hot hatchback segment by Fiat’s Abarth 500. This car had some revolutionary concepts, but, unfortunately, it was unable to achieve the desired levels of success and set up a milestone in the automobile industry.
Fiat has never lost efforts and is now all set to launch its new Abarth 595 Competizione in India. This fabulous looking car is set for its launch in the next month of November, 2014. Fiat has worked hard, not only on the engine, but also on the exteriors and interiors, in order to attract most of the probable car buyers.
Expected to be launched with a 1368 cc high-powered four-cylinder turbocharged petrol engine, Fiat promises that this hatchback model will be able to produce 160 PS of maximum power along with a torque of 210 Nm at the highest speed. This car will also come with the option of a “Sports Mode” that will increase the torque to a figure of more than 231 Nm.
The exteriors remain unexceptional with minor changes being brought to the door handles, wing mirrors and front grill. The interiors have been redecorated in a manner to provide a feel of a sports bike. The car will also contain a bright LCD display for the information.
In all, this car is set to hit the market with a high demand among the people. Abarth 595 Competizione is assumed to be set at an ex-showroom price of Rs. 27 lakhs – Rs. 30 lakhs.
