Fiat is on verge of launching new Evo Punto facelift in India, the updated hatchback has already reached Fiat outlets and will be made available for sale effective August. Ahead of 2014 Evo Punto launch in India, details have emerged on the upcoming hatchback. 2014 Evo Punto is comprehensively modified and will come incorporated with a host of technologically advanced goodies. Punto’s new range will include seven trim levels- Active, Dynamic, Emotion and Sport. Petrol variants of Punto will be proffered in two engine options-1.2 litre motor good for 67 Bhp of top power and a 1.4 litre engine engendering 90 Bhp of peak power. The 1.2 litre, 67 Bhp engine will power Active and Dynamic variants, on the other hand Emotion trim will come packed with 1.4 litre, 90 Bhp engine. Diesel range will be housed with Fiat’s renowned 1.3 litre Multijet engine producing varied power output of 75 Bhp and 90 Bhp. While Active, Dynamic and Emotion trims will be loaded with 75 Bhp diesel motor, Sport trim will be armed with 90 Bhp mill.
Inside the cabin, an all black colour scheme will be seen in the high end version while rest of the trims will sport dual-tone colour scheme. Safety features offered as standard provisions in new Evo Punto range include automatic door lock, central door locking, door open indicator, fire prevention system and Immobilizer with rolling code. Features exquisite to top end version comprise of prominent equipments such as Anti-lock braking system with electronic brake-force distribution, dual airbags among others.
Fiat will offer new Punto in seven exterior colour options- Glitternti Gold, Magnesio Grey, Exotica Red, Minimal Grey, Hip Hop Black, Vocal White and Tuscan Wine.
