Fiat India has launched a limited edition of the Linea sedan - the Elegante – at Rs. 9.99 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi). Positioned above the existing top-end model, the Fiat Linea Elegante receives some exterior and interior updates. Though, there are no mechanical changes made to the vehicle.
Available with White exterior paint job, the Linea Elegante sports a front grille with black inserts, modified front and rear bumpers, ORVM with new chrome garnish, side skirts, new Elegante decal, a rear spoiler and Punto Evo-inspired 16-inches alloy wheels. This Limited Edition also gets a panoramic black sunroof. The interior, too, has been revised with a 6.5-inches touchscreen infotainment system, new seat covers, new door sill and special carpet mats with Elegante branding.
Powering the Fiat Linea Elegante Limited Edition are the same 1.3-litre Multijet diesel and 1.4-litre T-Jet petrol engines – that do duty to the existing regular models. While the former produces a maximum power of 91.7bhp and 209Nm of torque, the latter one offers 112.4bhp and 207Nm. Transmitting power to the front wheels is a 5-speed manual transmission.
