Fiat Group Automobiles India Private Limited (FGAIPL), a subsidiary of Italian multinational automotive giant Fiat S.p.A, has opened the doors of its first exclusive retail outlet in the National Capital Region (NCR) on January 10, 2013. The new store is named as 'Kashyap Fiat Group Automobiles India Pvt. Ltd. Noida' and is located at C-18, Noida Phase II.

The newly opened Noida-based Fiat store was inaugurated by Enrico Atanasio, Managing Director (MD) of FGAIPL, amid great spirit and celebrations. Spread over a 4000 sq. ft. of area, the Fiat store is opened as a joint collaboration between the Italian auto major and the Kashyap Group, who has an incredible 25 year experience in automobile dealerships business.

Expressing his delight at opening of the company's brand new retail outlet in Noida, Enrico Atanasio quoted, “Fiat India views Noida as a very strategic market and the inauguration of an exclusive dealership is in accordance with our strategy to capitalise on this potential. We are confident that our association with the Kashyap Group will play a crucial role in identifying the customer base and enhancing customer experience in Noida. With Kashyap Group, we are associated with a partner who has more than 25 years of experience and market knowledge of the automobile trade in NCR, in India and abroad.”

Commenting on the group's association with Fiat India, Rajinder Kashyap, Founder and Chairman of Kashyap Group, said, “Fiat cars are prominent all over India for their performance and their aesthetic design. We are extremely proud to become exclusive dealers of Fiat Group Automobiles India Pvt. Ltd in Noida and we are confident of replicating world class dealership experience to the car buyers here.”

At present, the Italian auto major has just two models in its Indian product portfolio, the Grande Punto premium hatchback and Linea sedan. Hence, the world-class Kashyap Fiat Group Automobiles India Pvt. Ltd. Noida store will offer just two models to the domestic car enthusiasts.

The company is believed to have set aside two new products to be introduced in the country. A Linea facelift and Abarth made Grande Punto premium hatch are expected to see daylight somewhere around the later half of this year. Fiat India has also revealed intentions to launch models under its utility vehicle segment by making a sub-brand Jeep on domestic turf. Hence, Indian car enthusiasts might see Jeep Wrangler and Grand Cherokee scorching local streets in 2013.

Further, Fiat India hopes to have a strong 100 dealership presence across the country by the end of 2013. The Italian auto major has signed legal agreements for opening new stores in 35 major Indian cities, depending upon the demand witnessed among the local audience for Fiat cars. In the initial phase of dealership expansion, Fiat India will target big metropolitans and tier-1 cities.
