Fiat India, the domestic arm of Italian auto maker Fiat S.p.A., has been introducing new surprises from quite some time, which has enthralled the Indian audience completely. The car maker has come up with a new announcement this time, indicating the launch of special edition models of Linea and the Grande Punto. And celebration of this year’s festive season has been cited as the reason behind the launch of these two new models, which will be termed as ‘Absolute editions’ in the Indian auto industry post their launch.
Earlier this year, the auto maker came up with the new avatars of Linea and the Grande Punto, which were able to pull the masses across their stand. Following the successful launch of refreshed models, the company opened the doors of Fiat Caffes in Delhi and Pune, wherein the Fiat fans were provided with an opportunity to touch and experience the company’s new models and heritage. Few months ago, the car maker also introduced the sport edition model of Punto hatchback, which worked out in the favor of the company. All these surprises came one by one from the company’s stable and fulfilled the expectations of Fiat as well.
The new models of Linea sedan and Grande Punto hatchback will sport additional features, which will distinguish them from the existing models. Reportedly, the new edition models will be provided with an offer of over 50 per cent roadside cover and free insurance from the regular versions. Additional features which are expected to be packed within the Absolute editions will be Linea branded door sill, reverse parking sensors, free mudguards and a tablet with 3G-connectivity and navigation. Apart from these, both the models will wear Absolute themed upholstery, which will deliver a premium feel of luxury to its occupants.
However, the prices of these two new models are not disclosed by the company officials, but industry experts believe that both the models will be priced at the same level of current editions. Therefore, it can be concluded that Fiat will be offering new features in its current models, with the name of Absolute edition, and will be providing them at no extra cost, which surely makes it a good deal for the buyers.
