Ferrari will be celebrating its 70th anniversary this year at the Silverstone circuit. The Ferrari Racing Days will be held on 23-24 September 2017. The sports car manufacturer will cover on-track activities from the F1 Clienti, FXX, 599XX, FXX K and the Ferrari Challenge Trofeo Pirelli. Along with the Finali Mondiali races, the Ferrari Racing Days event at Silverstone will be the only location in the UK where Ferrari fans will be able to see all of these different track activities, that too at the same venue and on the same weekend.
Historic F1 cars from Ferrari’s illustrious racing heritage will be present in the F1 Clienti where the cars will be driven on the track as part of demonstration laps. Ferrari will be the unique one amongst the F1 teams because Scuderia Ferrari has won more F1 Constructor’s titles than any other team and it also allows Ferrari's loyal and passionate clients a chance to own and drive a Ferrari F1 car on a GP circuit. Experimental development cars like the FXX, 599XX and FXX K will also be taken to the track twice each day for development work on the new technologies.
The Ferrari Racing Days event will see races from the Ferrari Challenge Trofeo Pirelli along with the F1 Clienti and FXX/599XX programmes. The one-make racing series for Ferrari’s mid-engine V8 cars, will witness packed grids of the 458 Challenge and the brand new 488 Challenge which will be raced by experienced drivers in two 30 minute races. Audience for the Ferrari Racing Days event at Silverstone will be charged £16 (Rs 1,342) per day or £25 (Rs 2,096) for the weekend. Entry is free for kids below the age of 15 only when accompanied by a paying adult.
