From time to time, several upgrades were also introduced, which enabled the car to brave the test of time. Recently, a new variant has been introduced in the market – Alto K10 AMT.
The new model comes in VXI airbag, VXI AMT, VXI, LXI and LX models, which are priced in the range of 3.0 lakhs to 3.8 lakhs. However, the prices may vary from region as well as on the model. The car runs on a 998 cc engine, which generates a power output of 58.2 bhp and a torque output of 78 Nm. The car comes as a FWD just like most new hatchbacks. However, what sets it apart is the AMT option. The Automatic transmission makes it easier to manoeuvre even on the toughest of roads. If the AMT is successful on this model, Maruti might also launch this feature on subsequent models down the line.
