      General Motors India continues its aggressive expansion plan in the country by launching the Chevrolet Enjoy. This Multi Purpose Vehicle (MPV) has been designed to seat 7-8 people comfortably and transport them in style. The Enjoy model is suitable and economical for both personal and commercial usage. The Enjoy is available in both petrol and diesel options, with these engines having been built specially for Indian driving conditions. While the diesel variant is powered by the 1.3 oil burner, the petrol version gets a 1.4 litre powertrain. Power produced by petrol variants stands at 103 bhp, while the same for the diesel variants is at 76 bhp. Both engine options are mated to a 5-speed manual gearbox.

      Several features have been include in this comfortable and affordable MPV, which is targeted towards urban Indian audience. Tilt power steering helps in providing comfort to the driver, especially over long distances. The driving seat is adjustable as per the height of the driver. 12V power points have been provided near the third row of seats, which is helpful for charging laptops and mobile phones while on the move. In addition, the seats have been positioned in such a way to provide an al-round view of surroundings from different angles. The Enjoy measures 4,305 mm x 1,680 mm x 1,750 mm (LxBxH), in terms of overall dimensions. The length is suitable for seating three row of passengers in adequate comfort. On the front, one can see the signature Chevrolet Gold Bowtie in a Chrome Surround Three-dimensional Grille, along with Leaf Style fog lamps. Creases from the bonnet to the front windscreen give an agile stance to the vehicle. The headlamps give a jewelled effect to the Enjoy. A triple-pod design has been created for the turn indicator, high and low beam, truly giving this vehicle a premium look. It is accentuated by a Chrome Surround Meshed Air Dam that is visible near the front bumper. Six attractive colours of this vehicle are available, namely Velvet Red, Summit White, Linen Beige, Caviar Black, Sandrift Grey and Switchblade Silver. On the inside, the Enjoy gets dual tone interiors in brown and beige colours. Wood-finished AC vents and door trim add more class to its interiors. A triple cluster silver surround instrument panel looks specially attractive when illuminated in blue. This helps in providing strain-free view of the instrument panel. Speaking about the cost-effectiveness of the Enjoy, Lowell Paddock, Managing Director of General Motors India said, “GM India achieved substantial localization at the start of regular production of the Enjoy, which is unprecedented for a global vehicle manufactured in India. This is significant not only for the local economy, but also benefits buyers through a lower cost of ownership as a result of lower parts prices and the ready availability of spare parts.” It starts at a price of Rs. 5.49 lakh and the top end diesel variant is priced at Rs. 7.99 lakh (both ex-showroom, Delhi). A total of eight trim models of the Chevrolet Enjoy have been launched for the Indian market, in both petrol and diesel options. Apart from two trim models that are available as 8-seater vehicles, all others are 7-seater versions. The Enjoy LS (base variant petrol) starts at Rs. 5.49 lakh, while LT and LS (petrol) are priced at Rs. 6.31 lakh and Rs. 5.54 lakh, respectively. In the diesel category, variants LS and LT are available at Rs. 6.75 lakh and Rs. 7.42 lakh, along with the LTZ at Rs. 7.99 lakh. Even among petrol variants, the LTZ is the top-of-the-line trim model, available for Rs. 6.99 lakh (all prices ex-showroom, Delhi). Customers have the option to choose variants with Anti-lock Brake System (ABS), Electronic Brake-force Distribution (EBD), Dual Front Air Bags, Rear Park Assist, Rear Window Defogger, and other safety features. The Enjoy gets the General Motors' three-year/100,000-km (whichever comes first) standard warranty. Apart from this, a unique 3 Year Chevrolet Promise on Enjoy will make sure that maintenance costs are lowest for three years or 45,000 km (whichever comes first). This vehicle believed to be capable of delivering a strong blow to market segment leader Maruti Ertiga, owing to a number of enticing features, warranty options and attractive pricing.
