Following the launch of the facelifted Mustang in the US, Ford is now preparing the car for the European markets where it sells the popular muscle car in right-hand drive configuration.

        Euro-spec Ford Mustang facelift spied

The facelifted European-spec Mustang was recently spotted testing on the streets of Dearborn. The current-gen Pony car has proven to be a hit overseas, so Europe will get a version of the facelifted Mustang that was shown for the North American market earlier this year.

Design wise, the Euro-spec model will get a different grille and light design for both front and rear. Ford will also make some interior improvements and revise the suspension settings. European models will likely continue with specific lighting and suspension treatments. The Euro-spec Mustang EcoBoost seen in the photos is equipped with a black painted roof and new 19-inch ebony black aluminum wheels. Under the hood, a 10-speed automatic is now available for both the 2.3-litre Ecoboost four and the 5.0-litre V8.

The European-spec Mustang facelift is expected to hit the showrooms early next year.
