Eco Rent a Car, the country’s premium car rental company, has introduced 2 co-branded extended limousines in Mumbai and Delhi, in association with glamour brand Estee Lauder. The Director of Eco Rent a Car, Rajesh Loomba is of a view that the premium car segment has no effect to the recession and is quite confident that the high class sections of society will spend massive amount of money on these luxury travel vehicles.
As the wedding season is just about to begin, the rental company’s association with Estee Lauder is important. Chrysler Limousine and Estee Lauder are mulling to look for common clients in the wedding line. Nowadays, glamour has emerged as an essential ingredient in the weddings, which make them one of the perfect options for both bride and groom. Loomba further added, “Limousine is also a perfect gift to make someone feel special, it can be customised to offer a personalised service and clients can also order fine wine, flowers, cake or balloons, to be included with the Limo. The Limo is slated to replace the conventional doli.”
Interestingly, the wedding packages of this company start from Rs. 51,000 for a duration of four hours for a Limousine. These limousines are shipped from USA and designed by Chrysler Corporation. Such vehicles will be parked at prominent locations of Delhi and Mumbai and is expected to be available on rent for as much as Rs. 30,000 for corporate package or 4 hours of nightlife. Reportedly, the user has to pay an additional amount of Rs. 6000 for each extra hour and 10 km run.
Expressing his views further, Loomba added, “We are witnessing unprecedented response to our limousines in Delhi and NCR. The fact that it is an original American made Chrysler Stretch Limousine and not a country made copy-cat limo has wedding organisers contacting us for bookings months in advance. Delhi's elite socialites and urban youth along with corporate, and hotels are those who have already made bookings with us and we expect this demand to multiply as we approach the festive season.”
It must be noted that this car rental company has around 1100 models in its fleet, which offers a wide array of options to customers to choose from. Eco Rent a car is counted among the country’s largest luxury car rental companies and it has been operating with offices in almost all major cities of India. Further, the company is anticipating importing a number of other super luxury models for the high class society.
